According to a court document filed on Tuesday, Twitter will cross-examine Elon Musk
on September 26 and 27 as part of ongoing litigation over their $44 billion takeover transaction.
The announcement of the deposition coincides with the deposition scheduled for Tuesday
by attorneys for the business and Musk of Twitter co-founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey.
The recent depositions are the most recent evidence of the intensifying legal conflict between Musk and Twitter.
Earlier this month, Peiter Zatko, a former Twitter security chief who became a whistleblower,
was also scheduled to be fired.
Twitter claims that Zatko's accusations create a "false narrative" about the company
and that Musk's accusations are "factually inaccurate, legally insufficient, and economically irrelevant."
On October 17, a five-day trial between the two parties is scheduled to begin.
