The highly anticipated Big 12 season opener between the No. 12 Texas Christian University Horned Frogs and

the No. 25 University of Texas Longhorns took place Thursday night in Fort Worth.

The teams' Thursday night match ended in a 1-1 tie.
The Horned Frogs entered the game with the Big 12's No. 2 ranking.

It was a truly terrible first half of play, but Holly Ward scored the game-winning goal for the Longhorns to make it 1-0.

TCU coach Eric Bell told his team at halftime that they had plenty of time to score the equalizer.

The Horned Frogs' bench never seemed to be filled with
anxiety.

The TCU penalty kick was converted by Camryn Lancaster in the 70th minute,

immediately following the forward graduate student. The penalty goal provided the Frogs with

all the motivation they needed to attempt and steal a victory in front of a sold-out crowd.
