Lim Kia Tong, the president of the Football Association of Singapore (FAS),
passed away on September 14 at the age of 70.He was born on July 10, 1954,
and left behind his wife and two children, a son (30) and a daughter(31)
Lim, who oversaw the criminal department and had more than 40 years of legal
experience, was the FAS's first elected president. Four years later, he was re-elected
without a challenge.
Lim was a well-known figure in the world
of football As the head of the Asian Football Confederation DC and
the deputy chairman of the Fifa disciplinary committee (DC).
