74th Emmy Awards 2022: Winners/Nominees | Television

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ selections for the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, which were presented from June 1, 2021, to May 31, 2022, were the best in American prime time television programming (ATAS). The 74th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California, on September 3 and 4, 2022, and were broadcast live on September 12. Due to NBC’s coverage of Sunday Night Football, the event was telecast in the United States on Monday. Announcing the nominees took place on July 12, 2022.

In order to accommodate the first week of the NFL season, the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards were held on Monday night instead of its customary date on Sunday. The concert was hosted by “Saturday Night Live” star Keenan Thompson, and it was televised live from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater.

The show with the most nominations overall (25) was “Succession,” which won the prize for best drama series while Matthew Macfaden took home the prize for best supporting actor in a drama series.

Twenty people nominated “Ted Lasso,” which won for best comedy. With 20 nominations, “The White Lotus” was the most nominated limited series and went on to win best limited series. Several of the actors from the show also won awards.
