2022 Road Safety World Series: Best Player, Best Baller, Stats, Prize Money and more

The final match of the RSWS 2022 saw the India Legends defeat the Sri Lanka Legends in what ended up being a rematch of the 2021 Road Safety World Series (RSWS). Speaking of the game, India Legends chose to bat first after winning the toss.

The host team received a shock early on when captain Sachin Tendulkar was dismissed for a first-ball duck. Suresh Raina was eliminated by Sri Lanka Legends once more as the batting unit appeared to be in peril. However, the home team was able to mount a potent comeback with the bat thanks to a great partnership between Naman Ojha and Vinay Kumar.

Ojha completed an incredible hundred with the help of 15 fours and two maximums, demonstrating his remarkable batting skills. Yuvraj Singh, a veteran batsman, also scored 19 runs in just 13 balls, including two fours and one maximum.

As a result of its top-order failing to get going, the Sri Lanka Legends batting lineup was unable to handle the pressure of chasing a significant total. The standout performer for the chasing team was Ishan Jayaratne, who scored an excellent fifty in just 22 balls. Other notable batsmen for the chasing team included Asela Gunaratne, Jeevan Mendis, Mahela Udawatte, and Upul Tharanga.

The chasing team was eventually bowled out in 18.5 overs after scoring only 162 runs. Abhimanyu Mithun grabbed two wickets, with Vinay Kumar taking three for his group. Additionally, other bowlers contributed and helped their team make some crucial runs.
